Happenings at home and in Sydney

Well mum and Jenny took me to Cotsco a few days ago.  It opened in July and till today, it's still drawing in the crowds.  The push carts are the largest I have ever seen and the queue even before the store opened is a sight to behold.  Everything is sold in large quantities and after walking around the aisles, it's easy to see why no one needs to cook or do anything in the kitchen.  You can buy all your meals there already processed and it's reasonably priced too.  Great for huge families or if you have a huge freezer to store everything.  The LCB Diplome de Cuisine definately will not come in handy here.

For the best pho outside of Vietnam, you need to come to Pho An at Bankstown.  The menu is all in Vietnamese and luckily they only serve pho so it's fairly easy to order.  The difference is the broth.  I can't even describe it except to say that once you have tried it, you won't want to go anywhere else!

It's not often seen as it's so old.  This is my brother in law's mini which is in its original form from 1969.  Check out the hood which is held together with 2 leather straps!  The interior is very simple but roomy.  I really love it and I think it's great he's keeping these old cars alive!  I would get one too if I could.

On the home front, Loreta bought a new outdoor mat which Oscar is sitting on.  He looks super cranky here.  I think he wants to pee on it to mark his territory.  He better not!

When Loreta laid out the mat she bought from IKEA, all the cats came sniffing.  Check it out!  There's James, Gianna and Oscar who eventually sat on the mat!

A great way to donate to charity, I recently bought some stuff from The Animal Rescue Site.  It has some funky stuff and the result is this paw print shower curtain.  I urge you to go and check out the site.
